Although in great demand many disadvantages like very low water vapour transmission rate, non- biodegradability etc. which further causes environmental pollution. Keeping mind about the pollution and harm caused to nature, newer concepts use of bio-plastics came into force. Bio-plastics are produced from biological sources such potato, potato peels, corn, sugarcane, wheat, rice, banana peels These environment friendly biodegradable, safer option than petroleum-based plastics. biodegradable break down carbon dioxide, inorganic compounds degrade completely.
